The only thing that's right

First of all, I am super happy there are actually people who liked my Lavi Fanart. I really want to do another one soon. I already have an inspiration. ♥


Second of all: I am super proud of this drawing. I know how ridiculous that may sound. It's such a simple, ordinary drawing and pose. But I really had a lot of trouble with it. I have this image on my mind since 2009. So basically it took me seven years to get this done xD I had so many attempts  drawing this, but it never really worked out. I think I improved a lot over the last couple of years. And I really appreciate how far I've come. But there are two things I still struggle with a lot and that really bothers me: 1) Drawing more than one character. One will definitely look weird. And the more I try to make up for it, the more likely both will end up looking weird. Also it's so hard to get the proportions right and even harder when the characters aren't the same height or age. 2) Drawing my characters the way I imagine them to look like. I think "They can't break me as long as I know who I am" is the closest I ever came to draw Vincent the way he is actually supposed to look like and that may be the reason why I like this drawing so much.
So I am super happy, this doesn't look weird (yet) and I also been able to draw them relatively close to what they are supposed to look like. It's still far from what I really see when thinking of them. But at least for Andy I can say I came close(r). I am super afraid of coloring this. I feel like I will totally ruin it. And I still haven't figured out how to do Andys hair color. People always think he is blond, but his hair is supposed to be light brown. xD
